All the Details
- Nine Categories – Mens, Non-Binary, and Womens categories will compete across 3 difficulty divisions:
- Recreational: Up to V3 | Intermediate: V4-V5 | Advanced: V6 and up
- Select your category based on the grade you can typically complete in a single session
- Recreational: Up to V3 | Intermediate: V4-V5 | Advanced: V6 and up
- Schedule
- Intermediate & Rec Categories: Doors open for check-in at 1pm, Climbing 2-5pm
- Open Category: Doors Open for check-in at 11:30am, Climbing 12-3pm, Onsight Finals at 5pm
- Chicago Taco Authority will be parked outside slinging tacos starting at 3pm!
- Top 5 climbs count toward your overall score for the Redpoint round.
- The top 3 Rec and Intermediate Climbers in each gender category after the redpoint round will be crowned the champs and take home prizes!
- The top 5 Open Climbers in each gender category will advance to an onsight finals round to vie for the top spots!
- Spectators will be limited during the redpoint rounds – but we’re packing the house during finals! Free to spectate finals so head on in.
- Age Restrictions:
- Rec/Int Categories are 18+
- Open Category – Ages 14+
- Anyone who competes in the Humboldt Park USAC QE or Collegiate comps cannot compete in the Rumble
