Our shared routesetting vision is to guide people toward a lifelong love of climbing through fun, functional, and fair routesetting.
To bring this vision to life, we need to understand how people are experiencing the routesetting at our gyms so we know how to make adjustments that improve their experience and grow their love of climbing.
Gym Managers and Head Routesetters must complete the form below at least once per week. Additional input from other routesetters or staff is also welcome here.
Form submissions will go to the Gym Manager and Head Routesetter of your location as well as the Operations Director.
When you engage in conversation with climbers, here are some questions you can ask:
- What are you enjoying about the boulders/routes you climbed today?
- Which boulders/routes really stood out to you? Why?
- What boulders/routes didn’t you like? Why?
- What about our boulders/routes do you think could be improved?
- What do you want more of from the routesetting team?
