Yoga Instructor
Megan has always had a passion for various forms of fitness such as swimming, hiking, and cheerleading, but was instantly hooked when she took her first yoga class a little over a decade ago. She loves practicing in different studios and venues throughout the city and has completed her 200 RYT Hour Hatha Teaching Program at Bloom Yoga Studio. She is a graduate from Illinois State University with her bachelor’s degree in middle school teaching.
Megan believes that yoga helps bring mental clarity and more mindfulness, which in turn, complements a well balanced and healthy lifestyle. Her classes include challenging, playful, and strengthening poses while focusing on safe body movements and gaining a feeling of “air conditioning for the mind.” She believes that yoga is accessible and beneficial to all individuals regardless of age, flexibility, or experience. Off the mat, Megan loves to cook, garden, and spend time outdoors with her children and husband.
