The First Ascent team is beyond stoked to announce that we’re expanding FA Block 37!
If you’ve been to our Block 37 location recently, you’ve probably noticed the adjacent space to the left once you walk past our front desk. The expanded space brings more amenities, more climbing features, and more spaces for you to enjoy, including:
- Expanded locker rooms with 6 showers and double the lockers
- Large, open-format fitness area with more equipment and space to work out
- More social space, with seating areas, co-working space, and a ping pong table
- Multipurpose room for events, workshops, and more
- And, of course: more climbing! 5,000 square feet worth of new Walltopia walls, to be exact
Here’s a quick preview of the climbing terrain:
We’re particularly excited about the crystal cave, sliced barrel, and vert-to-slab corner features, and we hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we enjoyed designing them.
The expansion is slated to open at the end of August. If you haven’t been to Block 37 in a while, plan a trip in September to come check out the fresh digs!
