First Ascent Peoria is the first full service climbing gym in Peoria, Illinois. We opened in January of 2019 with a mission to spread the love of climbing in the heart of Illinois. Our 20,000 square foot facility features an exciting adaptive reuse of a steel supply warehouse in Peoria’s Historic Warehouse District and is the culmination of a partnership between local Peoria climbers and First Ascent Climbing & Fitness.
Built by climbers for climbers of all ability levels, First Ascent Peoria offers incredible climbing terrain with climbs set for new climbers and seasoned veterans alike, a dedicated yoga studio with a full schedule of yoga classes, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, the instruction you need to reach the next level, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a warm, welcoming community that will make you feel right at home.
